The Weekly Bookmark has put submissions to the side today to
explore travel information on the Web. This four part series
will hopefully get you started on those "Where do you want to
go?" vacation plans. How does the news look? I think it's
great, but I want to hear from you. Send your feedback to

Web Travel: Part 1 of 4
Matt Alberts weekly@webcom.com
If you are planning a vacation for the summer or early fall,
try gathering information from the World Wide Web. Most United
States provide information via the World Wide Web that is
comparable or better than printed guides. By using the Web, you
eliminate the days of waiting for information, you can explore
different areas that you were unaware of, and you don't have to
deal with pesky operators with thick Texas accents.
This four part series will look at various places to gather
information about tourism and travel on the Web. The first
series will highlight the states of Alabama through Kansas. The
second, Kentucky through North Dakota. The third, Ohio through
Wyoming. The fourth will highlight international travel.
